Pride Passage
Fostering a sense of pride in Kuwait stands as a pivotal endeavor in shaping the nation's progressive trajectory. Following the events of the 1990 war, there emerged a compelling necessity to annually commemorate both the liberation and Independence Day, both falling on February 25 and 26. Regrettably, the manner of celebration has evolved over time, veering away from an embracement of the Kuwaiti identity. Instead, the festivities have descended into disarray, marked by acts of destruction, harassment, and violence. In this context, there arises a pressing need to shift the focus towards orchestrating a more organized celebration. A promising avenue for this lies in the creation of elaborate floats that traverse the streets, accentuating Kuwait's historical landmarks. By interweaving these iconic structures with contemporary textures and elements, the floats provide a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between past and future, offering a chance to both connect with history and envision what lies ahead.
